I don't mind my name, yes its common but I think that it could be worse. There are a lot more common names than Megan. Plus you should be happy with your name it was given to you because someone thought you special. Hell they could have not named you and you'd just be that girl/boy or a dead persons name like Jane Doe or John Doe

When I was a kid, I hated my name because it seemed to be so unpopular. Now that I'm an adult, it is nice to not have as many in my age group share my name. I like my name because my parents based it on it's meaning which has turned out to be a great descriptor of my personality.
