I'm turkish, my name has arabic origins doesn't sound very arabic in turkey. It has turkish meaning Hayr means Good Deeds ettin means you did. A person who is doing good deeds and has done good deeds before simply. I'm having quite the problem when I intruduce myself to english speakers. They don't remember my name quite well and can't spell it very well (Hay as High - ret as red but harder with t - tin as like a tin can) I simply go by my nickname while abroad. Which is Hayro the one I use most. Don't have very good reactions to my name mostly neutral, it's still a very unique name in Turkey and you will get more distinct and apparent on name lists. But outside of the Turkey since there are lot of different and unique names you might not feel the difference.
