I love my name. It has 2 drawbacks though:
- No one can spell it until I tell them (someone spelled it Cassidyee o.O )
- I get people trying to nickname me Cassie. Cassie is fine for people who like it or who are named it but it seems like a dimunitive kid-like name, at least when you try and stick it on me. I love to go by Cass. Cass is an awesome nick name. :)
In all though my name is pretty awesome, and I find it odd that this site rates it as only a boys name. I know it used to be a boys name only but now it is actually BOTH.
I know some people who say "its only good if your under 10, if you're over that and Cassidy is your name your really immature" or "Cassidy is so hidious" or "Cassidy is a surname and faceless and yucky as a first name" (comments I have read on the name before) but I don't agree. I love my name!
