im guessing from the word "zenith" which means top or apex. they added an "a" to make azenith. i think it is a great sounding name and if you look at the meaning... well.. nothing could get higher than that! =)

Hello, zenith like as mentioned before means the apex or highest point attainable.

HOWEVER, when you put the prefix A- it means the opposite.

The prefix A- is defined as: Not, Without, Opposite. (eg. Amoral, Asymmetrical)

So a nice sounding name is NOT really flattering.

Can someone enlighten me if it is a classical name?
